The Car Butler was founded in 2009, to meet a need for personal vehicle services evident among the busy professionals and parents of Vancouver. Founder Marc Bonin observed that people were working longer hours and finding it difficult to take care of their vehicles. Marc created The Car Butler to help these time-pressured people ensure they do not have to pay the price of missing appointments at work or home due to problems with vehicle performance.

About Our Founder Marc Bonin
Marc Bonin is someone who truly understands that a proactive approach to vehicle care is the best way to get maximum value from an investment in vehicle ownership and to ensure passenger safety. This understanding forms the core philosophy behind The Car Butler. Marc’s interest in vehicle care first emerged when he began fixing bicycles at the tender age of six. By his teens, Marc had moved on to fixing farm machinery and motorcycles.
In 1993, Marc, completed a two-year diploma in aircraft maintenance. Work in this field was scarce, so he spent the next four years as a goods vehicle owner and operator. In 1997, determined not to let his aircraft maintenance training go to waste, Marc became a helicopter mechanic and spent a good portion of the next decade maintaining the airworthiness of helicopters in remote locations ranging from the Canadian Arctic to Mexico.
