We hope you have a chance to visit Vines in person! Vines offers a mix of knowledgeable staff, sought-after wines, good pricing and a relaxed atmosphere. With over 800 listings in the store, this emphasis is making sure you will find a selection of wines you want. Every store has a diverse list of offerings, so what makes Vines different?
Vines has a great selection. A restaurant with an 800 item wine list doesn’t necessarily have a great wine list if entire regions or distinct styles of wine are missed. Having twenty Chardonnays from the same region in the same style doesn’t mean you have a wide selection. Vines doesn’t have the largest inventory in the province, but the emphasis is on diversity, artisanship, and sometimes a little bit of an eclectic mix that ensures you will always walk out with something special.
The Vines staff are knowledgeable. From restaurant experience to one of the most effective wine educators in Canada (if not North America), from the Caribbean to Napa Valley, the staff of Vines bring together a great mix of interests and experience to the store. This diversity of knowledge is assists our clientele with questions about matching wines with foods, trying something new or just have a general wine question.
